Having a rich history of music and arts in Kansas City, we knew Merry Christmas Kansas City had to represent just that.
This song features some of the greatest musicians in the world including Blair Masters (Garth Brooks, Josh Groban) on keyboards and Dave Cleveland (Miley Cyrus, Little Big Town) on guitar. The vocals were sung by two extremely talented Kansas City natives; Cameron Smith and Ryan Ragone. The song was written and co-produced by Melissa Hickman, a Kansas City native, and co-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Brian and Nic here at GFM Recording Studios.
Our intention with this song was to create the new Kansas City Christmas classic that can be enjoyed year after year as families and communities continue traditions and create new ones together. This song was written to share love, community and pride in our great city.
